Abbey Windows can offer two systems, a bespoke fully fitted range and a budget do-it-yourself range.

 

Bespoke Secondaries

Our range of bespoke Secondary Glazing comprises a slim aluminium outer frame joined to a seasoned hardwood surround, usually all finished in white, which allows for a neat, unobtrusive installation, even in the most difficult situations. These frames can be installed in all types of properties and to all types of window.

We have a comprehensive range of styles to suit just about every application, including Horizontal Sliders, Hinged Units, Fixed and Lift-Out Units, Vertical Sliders as well as Balanced Vertical Sliders and Tilt-in Balanced Vertical Sliders. We can supply frames in white, silver or brown as standard and can accommodate any R.A.L. colour upon request to suit individual requirements. We can also provide a wide range of glass types such as clear, patterned, toughened, laminated and acoustic. Whatever your requirements you can trust it to Abbey Windows Systems Ltd.

DIY Secondary Glazing If you are on a tight budget or are keen on DIY, Abbey Windows can also supply a DIY secondary glazing system. The system can be fitted internally or externally by any DIY enthusiast, quickly and efficiently, with the minimum of tools. The many benefits include cutting fuel costs by reducing heat loss, eliminating draughts and lowering noise penetration.

Just a few simple tools are required when fitting this DIY secondary glazing kit, a screwdriver, craft knife, marker pen and a tape measure is really all you need. The kit includes everything else you need to complete a professional job, all you supply is the single 4mm glass.
Simply fit the pvc channeling around your single glass, place the glass against your window surround and secure using the nylon fixing clips and screws.
